A nice corner shot did that Babbis Tsalouchidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Menelaos Kranidiotis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the game, Pantelis Spetzopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petαleia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Α.Ο. Σύρου FC the free kick. In the 21st minute, one of Petαleia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Petαleia. Babbis Tsalouchidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Menelaos Kranidiotis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Babbis Tsalouchidis ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ermis Vasilomichelakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermis Vasilomichelakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menelaos Kranidiotis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermis Vasilomichelakis scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Menelaos Kranidiotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paschalis Valassis might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Menelaos Kranidiotis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paschalis Valassis ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paschalis Valassis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Petαleia's goalkeeper Menelaos Kranidiotis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Menios Eleftheriadis. Σύρου FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
