Giannis Ifantidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolas Tassiopoulos in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Kostakoglou came free, but Giannis Ifantidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stratos Tsouloufidis took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Ifantidis. Giannis Ifantidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. LIONS's attentive Panos Mavilis managed to snatch the ball when Iakovos Leontarakis made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Tassiopoulos came free, but Giannis Ifantidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignatios Fasolis made a kick off. If Panos Mavilis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stratos Tsouloufidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Giannis Ifantidis made a huge save. Sakis Kyritsis's late challenge caught a Stonecity FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored LIONS's protests and gave Panos Mavilis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stonecity FC booed when LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Mavilis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Ignatios Fasolis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Ifantidis. Ignatios Fasolis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. A hard shot by Lazaros Loukoumis from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Giannis Ifantidis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 70th minute, Sakis Kyritsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis got control of the ball when Stratos Tsouloufidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stonecity FC's Alekos Kikidakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Politis in the 76th minute of play. Aris Nioplias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Ignatios Fasolis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giannis Ifantidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Fasolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Stratos Tsouloufidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Giannis Ifantidis made a huge save. When the match was over Stonecity FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LIONS throughout the match.
