With his leg Giorgos Makrikostas managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Emilio Eduardov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emilio Eduardov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Giorgos Makrikostas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Eduardov had several of the ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Giorgos Makrikostas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giorgos Makrikostas came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Emilio Eduardov. But to his dismay, Emilio Eduardov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 25th minute, Emilio Eduardov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLYMPIOS ZEUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Emilio Eduardov scored to the left of an out of position Giorgos Makrikostas, making the score, 5-0. Christos Vasakis struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Thanos Kopitsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ. After 34 minutes of play, OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Emilio Eduardov made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Makrikostas was left in no man's land by his defense there! ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's Giorgos Makrikostas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ from getting a goal against them. In the 39thth minute of the game Emilio Eduardov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's Giorgos Makrikostas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herbert Rojewski charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Rojewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ booed when OLYMPIOS ZEUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Rojewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's attentive Luke Tovar managed to snatch the ball when Timos Zebetoglou made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. If Luke Tovar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolf Putin was the one to do the kick off. Giorgos Makrikostas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Eduardov's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolf Putin in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgos Makrikostas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The goalkeeper, Thanos Kopitsis, was totally fooled by ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's Alexis Koutsomitras, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 65th minute, Adolf Putin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLYMPIOS ZEUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Adolf Putin might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgos Makrikostas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolf Putin ran back to his position shaking his head. Giorgos Makrikostas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Putin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Putin in the 77th minute of play forced ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's goalkeeper Giorgos Makrikostas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Llorenc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Thanos Kopitsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Vasakis in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Llorenc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgos Makrikostas. ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Llorenc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-1. OLYMPIOS ZEUS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
