Daniil Evaggellatos came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giannis Ifantidis could save by the left post. Giannis Ifantidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniil Evaggellatos in the 4th minute. Daniil Evaggellatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Giannis Ifantidis made a huge save. LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Evaggellatos in the 8th minute of play. Aris Nioplias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Politis in the 13th minute of play forced Sfikia FC's goalkeeper Emmanouil Matsoukis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Ifantidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Ntountas in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Panos Mavilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis got control of the ball when Timos Vlassopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, LIONS's Sakis Kyritsis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sakis Kyritsis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LIONS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sakis Kyritsis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sakis Kyritsis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a little luck, LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis got control of the ball when Daniil Evaggellatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giannis Ifantidis made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Daniil Evaggellatos sent off a good shot on target. Theofanis Ntountas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Lambis Strilakos with Themos Politis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Themos Politis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Emmanouil Matsoukis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giannis Ifantidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofanis Ntountas in the 41st minute of the match. Giannis Ifantidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniil Evaggellatos in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofanis Ntountas in the 46th minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Giannis Ifantidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Daniil Evaggellatos made the kick off in the second half. Themos Politis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Emmanouil Matsoukis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emmanouil Matsoukis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lambis Strilakos. A collision led to Sfikia FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vaios Anastasatos hit a great ball. Giannis Ifantidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofanis Ntountas in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Themos Politis got free with Emmanouil Matsoukis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apostolis Ioannou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanouil Matsoukis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofanis Ntountas in the 67th minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Giannis Ifantidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Pagias made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Theofanis Ntountas. 70 minutes into the game, Theofanis Ntountas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sfikia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LIONS the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Sfikia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofanis Ntountas to maneuver through the defense. Themos Politis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanouil Matsoukis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Anastasatos in the 86th minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Giannis Ifantidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theofanis Ntountas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Ifantidis having to interfere. If Theofanis Ntountas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LIONS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sfikia FC had controlled the match.
