In the 2nd minute, Markos Seichanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Loukianos Krassas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alekos Kikidakis. Nanak Nasih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stratos Tsouloufidis in the 8th minute. In the 11th match minute, Stonecity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Seichanidis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiros Efthimidis in the 12th minute of play forced Stonecity FC's goalkeeper Alekos Kikidakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ignatios Fasolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Kikidakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loukianos Krassas's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Stonecity FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Tassiopoulos. Loukianos Krassas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Argyroupoli BC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Fasolis came free, but Nanak Nasih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Argyroupoli BC got a freekick which was hit by Thalis Papadakos. After having played for 20 minutes, Ignatios Fasolis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stonecity FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatios Fasolis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Normand Hardin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alekos Kikidakis. Stonecity FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nikolas Tassiopoulos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Gerasimos Kalomantis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alekos Kikidakis skillfully saved the ball. Argyroupoli BC's Nanak Nasih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Argyroupoli BC from getting a goal against them. Nanak Nasih made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Stratos Tsouloufidis sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Argyroupoli BC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stratos Tsouloufidis was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Loukianos Krassas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alekos Kikidakis was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Stratos Tsouloufidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nanak Nasih having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Loukianos Krassas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alekos Kikidakis. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. After 64 played minutes Argyroupoli BC got a freekick which was hit by Loukianos Krassas. Stratos Tsouloufidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiros Efthimidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alekos Kikidakis made a huge save. Alekos Kikidakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Krassas in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Argyroupoli BC's Loukianos Krassas got a free kick in the 77th minute. Stratos Tsouloufidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nanak Nasih having to interfere. Nanak Nasih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Seichanidis in the 86th minute of the match. Iakovos Leontarakis's late challenge caught a Argyroupoli BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iakovos Leontarakis helped the player get up and apologised. Stratos Tsouloufidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nanak Nasih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Tsouloufidis in the 93rd minute of play. The Stonecity FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argyroupoli BC's performance. The match ended with a win for Argyroupoli BC.
