Christos Vasakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Charis Papaikonomou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Papaikonomou couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Βύζας Μεγάρων's Fotis Persias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Papaikonomou in the 56th minute of play. If Charis Papaikonomou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Βύζας Μεγάρων's Apostolikas Soumedakis got a free kick in the 61st minute. Giorgos Makrikostas made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Stathis Kalkanis sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to ΘΥΕΛΛΑ ΧΑΛΚΕΙΟΥ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
