The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emmanouil Matsoukis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Tsouloufidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Emmanouil Matsoukis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatios Fasolis in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Daniil Evaggellatos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sfikia FC's Emmanouil Matsoukis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Fasolis in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Sfikia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Tsouloufidis came free, but Emmanouil Matsoukis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Vaios Anastasatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emmanouil Matsoukis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignatios Fasolis in the 34th minute of play. Sfikia FC's Emmanouil Matsoukis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Fasolis in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Stratos Tsouloufidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Ignatios Fasolis made the kick off in the second half. Theofanis Ntountas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Kikidakis having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ignatios Fasolis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emmanouil Matsoukis, 0-1. 63 minutes into the match, Daniil Evaggellatos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alekos Kikidakis. Stonecity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniil Evaggellatos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 67 minutes into the match, Sfikia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Fasolis came free, but Emmanouil Matsoukis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sfikia FC booed when Stonecity FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iakovos Leontarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stratos Tsouloufidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Nikolas Tassiopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Ignatios Fasolis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emmanouil Matsoukis. Ignatios Fasolis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Dimitris Pagias hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Stonecity FC's Ignatios Fasolis in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sfikia FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Sfikia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stonecity FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Stonecity FC.
