Kostas Georgakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omiros Christou in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Aris Lazos made a precise shot to the right of Kostas Georgakis. Melidhokhσri BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nikos Georgatos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Aris Lazos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Georgakis having to interfere. In the 38th minute Christos Chatzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Georgakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Georgakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Tsochos in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoros Prinianakis made a kick off. Omiros Christou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kostas Georgakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Valerios Kefalos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melidhokhσri BC and the Greek Voters F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Melidhokhσri BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valerios Kefalos to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Georgatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alexandros Seremetis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Theocharis Premetis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Seremetis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aris Lazos took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Georgakis. Kostas Georgakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Melidhokhσri BC's zone, Omiros Christou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Georgakis came out of the goal and Omiros Christou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Valerios Kefalos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes Melidhokhσri BC got a freekick which was hit by Valerios Kefalos. Greek Voters F.C played a much better game than Melidhokhσri BC and deserved their victory. The Melidhokhσri BC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
