Avrámi's Fondas Klidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Arabatzis in the 26th minute of play. Babbis Karasimos came out of the goal and Apostolos Trobetas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Pallesviakos's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Boaventura came free, but Babbis Karasimos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fokas Pallini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Babbis Karasimos. Pallesviakos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Pallesviakos's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Boaventura came free, but Babbis Karasimos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Boaventura in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Babbis Karasimos saved Pallesviakos from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Makis Nebegleras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fondas Klidis was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pallesviakos's goalkeeper Babbis Karasimos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Valter Boaventura put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Babbis Karasimos. Avrámi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
