Apostolos Kalyvopoulos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Apostolos Kalyvopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markos Valassoulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stelios Kyrimlis in the 15th minute. Markos Valassoulis made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Marinos Staboulis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 32 minutes, Cecilio Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cecilio Gustau might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasios Basinas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Gustau ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cecilio Gustau put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anastasios Basinas. Anastasios Basinas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Gustau in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Gustau was the one to do the kick off. Vrasidas FC's Markos Valassoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charalambos Rokofilos in the 53rd minute of play. Benito Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Anastasios Basinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Benito Nataniel took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Anastasios Basinas to make any attempt to save it. Markos Valassoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Kyrimlis in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Cecilio Gustau tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasios Basinas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marinos Staboulis took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markos Valassoulis. Markos Valassoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Gusmão Brito's late challenge caught a Tsouknídha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gusmão Brito helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vrasidas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gusmão Brito hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Tsouknídha FC's Marinos Staboulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markos Valassoulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Markos Valassoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Staboulis in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Rokofilos in the 80th minute of play forced Vrasidas FC's goalkeeper Markos Valassoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vrasidas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stelios Kyrimlis was slow to take the kick. During this time Tsouknídha FC's players had a chance to rest. Tsouknídha FC's Stelios Kyrimlis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Markos Valassoulis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Benito Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vrasidas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Nataniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Basinas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Vrasidas FC's Apostolos Kalyvopoulos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasios Basinas. Anastasios Basinas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Vrasidas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
