Nontas Markas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apostolis Kartsolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Pathekas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Nontas Markas might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apostolis Kartsolis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nontas Markas ran back to his position shaking his head. Apostolis Kartsolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Π.Α.Ο.Κ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Tsiolis to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Π.Α.Ο.Κ's Apostolis Kartsolis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Cyprus Eagles AFC's Markos Katselis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After some careless play in the Π.Α.Ο.Κ defense, Markos Katselis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apostolis Kartsolis. The Π.Α.Ο.Κ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apostolis Kartsolis should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Markos Katselis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apostolis Kartsolis. The goal made the score 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nontas Markas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Π.Α.Ο.Κ got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Chatzivelos. In the 59th minute, Nontas Markas made a precise shot to the right of Apostolis Kartsolis. Π.Α.Ο.Κ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 64th minute, Markos Katselis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apostolis Kartsolis was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nontas Markas in the 68th minute of play forced Π.Α.Ο.Κ's goalkeeper Apostolis Kartsolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavlos Fotiadis came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Π.Α.Ο.Κ's Vaggelis Antoniou. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Antoniou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Apostolis Kartsolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Markas, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Π.Α.Ο.Κ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Stergios Chatzivelos hit a great ball. Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos scored 7-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apostolis Kartsolis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cyprus Eagles AFC's Pavlos Fotiadis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cyprus Eagles AFC from getting a goal against them. Apostolis Kartsolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos in the 87th minute of play. When Cyprus Eagles AFC's Konstantinos Ikonomopoulos in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Π.Α.Ο.Κ's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Π.Α.Ο.Κ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cyprus Eagles AFC.
