Minas Malesios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Babbis Maltezakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Savas Chaniotakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Karasimos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savas Chaniotakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Periklis Kyriakos fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pallesviakos's protests and gave Periklis Kyriakos a yellow card for diving instead. Periklis Kyriakos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Christos Kechagias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Babbis Karasimos skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Tiropoulos during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Thodoris Tiropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Pallesviakos got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Kalianiotis. Babbis Karasimos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Tsiantakis in the 45th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Makis Nebegleras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pallesviakos and the Chelsea F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Pallesviakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Nebegleras to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stavros Tsiantakis to make the kick off. A collision led to Chelsea F.C getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anestis Bougiouris hit a great ball. Babbis Maltezakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Nebegleras in the 57th minute of play. Louis Labaras's late challenge caught a Pallesviakos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Labaras helped the player get up and apologised. Louis Labaras kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Babbis Karasimos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Tsiantakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes of play Pallesviakos's Periklis Kyriakos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute, Periklis Kyriakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pallesviakos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stavros Tsiantakis 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. In the 93rdth minute of the game Stavros Tsiantakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pallesviakos's Babbis Karasimos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Thodoris Tiropoulos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Thodoris Tiropoulos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Savas Chaniotakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Babbis Karasimos made a huge save.
