The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valter Boaventura scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Katsavidas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fondas Klidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fondas Vistakis in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valter Boaventura during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Avrámi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Boaventura to maneuver through the defense. Jimboy's Giannis Katsavidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Trobetas in the 32nd minute of play. Panos Mavroudis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fondas Klidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Panos Mavroudis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Valter Boaventura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Giannis Katsavidas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fondas Vistakis got free with Fondas Klidis in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Panos Mavroudis struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Fondas Klidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jimboy. Fondas Klidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fondas Vistakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apostolos Trobetas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giannis Katsavidas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Vlastos in the 71st minute of play forced Avrámi's goalkeeper Fondas Klidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Katsavidas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valter Boaventura in the 76th minute. Avrámi's Fondas Klidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Aggeliadis in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jimboy's Andreas Kastanidis got a free kick in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Avrámi's Apostolos Trobetas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giannis Katsavidas. That made the score 2-4 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avrámi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
