Argyris Domazos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Olympiakos fc got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Germanos. Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiakos fc from getting a goal against them. When Nikos Paramithis fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympiakos fc's protests and gave Nikos Paramithis a yellow card for diving instead. Nikos Paramithis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Kyriakos Vryzas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoros Prinianakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Olympiakos fc getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Paris Matsoukelis hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Theocharis Premetis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kyriakos Vryzas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Paris Matsoukelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Georgakis having to interfere. A collision led to Melidhokhσri BC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Manos Karapialis hit a great ball. The supporters of Melidhokhσri BC booed when Olympiakos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Krassas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes Melidhokhσri BC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sokratis Liolidis who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Olympiakos fc's corner Paris Matsoukelis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kostas Georgakis quite easily take care of the ball. The Olympiakos fc fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Olympiakos fc's Paris Matsoukelis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute, Melidhokhσri BC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nektarios Papaefstathiou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Isidoros Prinianakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Melidhokhσri BC booed when Olympiakos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Matsoukelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyriakos Vryzas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoros Prinianakis in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Melidhokhσri BC's zone, Sokratis Liolidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Georgakis came out of the goal and Sokratis Liolidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
