Charalambos Rokofilos took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tasos Xidis. Tasos Xidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 18th minute Charalambos Rokofilos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tasos Xidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ajax FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stelios Kyrimlis was slow to take the kick. During this time Tsouknídha FC's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Ignatiou during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iosif Ignatiou hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Ajax FC's Eugenios Beloukas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasios Basinas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tsouknídha FC's Charalambos Rokofilos got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Tsouknídha FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Tsouknídha FC's Charalambos Rokofilos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eugenios Beloukas's late challenge caught a Tsouknídha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenios Beloukas helped the player get up and apologised. Eugenios Beloukas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tasos Xidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charalambos Rokofilos in the 42nd minute of the match. Aggelos Goumas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Charalambos Rokofilos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tasos Xidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Ajax FC's Lefteris Kreziadis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasios Basinas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charalambos Rokofilos made the kick off in the second half. Charalambos Rokofilos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Ajax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Rokofilos came free, but Tasos Xidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasos Xidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenios Beloukas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Basinas having to interfere. Barakat Al Youha's late challenge caught a Ajax FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barakat Al Youha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Barakat Al Youha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tsouknídha FC's Anastasios Basinas got control of the ball when Lefteris Kreziadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ajax FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
