But to his dismay, Valter Boaventura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Avrámi's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Matsoukelis came free, but Fondas Klidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sokratis Liolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Olympiakos fc getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nikos Paramithis hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Zacharias Teliadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valter Boaventura made a kick off. A collision led to Olympiakos fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sokratis Liolidis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Paris Matsoukelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiakos fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Paris Matsoukelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fondas Klidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fondas Klidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paris Matsoukelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Olympiakos fc's goalkeeper Kyriakos Vryzas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valter Boaventura. Avrámi's Nikitas Agtzidis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kyriakos Vryzas but with some difficulty. Avrámi's Fondas Klidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Germanos in the 69th minute of play. Paris Matsoukelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fondas Klidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sokratis Liolidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Apostolos Trobetas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fondas Klidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paris Matsoukelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes, Sokratis Liolidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiakos fc and the Avrámi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sokratis Liolidis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Fondas Klidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Vlontakis in the 87th minute of play. Nikos Paramithis made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Avrámi's Zacharias Teliadis. The Avrámi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Avrámi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
