Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Achilleas Kyriakakos started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Dhrνalon's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Negri came free, but Sokratis Pakaltsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sokratis Pakaltsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timos Preftokis in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanouil Kounadopoulos in the 12th minute of play forced Dhrνalon's goalkeeper Sokratis Pakaltsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Lemonis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dhrνalon's Sokratis Pakaltsis. Sokratis Pakaltsis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Preftokis in the 20th minute of play forced Dhrνalon's goalkeeper Sokratis Pakaltsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sokratis Pakaltsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Lemonis in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Negri in the 22nd minute of play forced Dhrνalon's goalkeeper Sokratis Pakaltsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Negri took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sokratis Pakaltsis. Sokratis Pakaltsis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Απόλλων Λάρισας's Timos Preftokis got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Απόλλων Λάρισας's Vaggelis Lemonis made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sokratis Pakaltsis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sokratis Pakaltsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Preftokis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Απόλλων Λάρισας getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ernesto Negri hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Lemonis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sokratis Pakaltsis was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Paraskevas Tabakos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sokratis Pakaltsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Απόλλων Λάρισας. After the first half Απόλλων Λάρισας were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaggelis Lemonis made a kick off. Sokratis Pakaltsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Lemonis in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Lemonis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sokratis Pakaltsis, 0-7. Vaggelis Lemonis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Sokratis Pakaltsis made a huge save. Emmanouil Kounadopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes of play, Απόλλων Λάρισας's Timos Preftokis made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sokratis Pakaltsis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimos Livaditis's late challenge caught a Dhrνalon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimos Livaditis helped the player get up and apologised. Sokratis Pakaltsis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Negri in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Timos Preftokis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Απόλλων Λάρισας's supporters rose to their feet, but Timos Preftokis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sokratis Pakaltsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Negri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Sokratis Pakaltsis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Stefanos Miroforidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Απόλλων Λάρισας's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefanos Miroforidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sokratis Pakaltsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Ernesto Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Sokratis Pakaltsis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Dhrνalon's zone, Timos Preftokis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sokratis Pakaltsis came out of the goal and Timos Preftokis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraskevas Tabakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Απόλλων Λάρισας's Vaggelis Lemonis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Απόλλων Λάρισας played a much better game than Dhrνalon and deserved their victory. The Dhrνalon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
