Spectators: 8121 (Terracing: 6093, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 161) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miltos Ziogas made the kick off which started today's match. After 8 minutes of play, The Commandos's Paris Braoudakis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christos Chatzidakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giorgos Stravogiannos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kosmas Chatziantonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Petros Triantafyllou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Commandos and the Nea Smirni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, The Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Triantafyllou to maneuver through the defense. Thanos Kalfakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christos Chatzidakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Thanos Kalfakis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Nea Smirni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Paris Braoudakis scored to the left of an out of position Christos Chatzidakis, making the score, 3-0. Stelios Belidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nea Smirni's zone, Stelios Belidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Chatzidakis came out of the goal and Stelios Belidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanos Kalfakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Chatzidakis having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paris Braoudakis made a kick off. Nea Smirni's Christos Chatzidakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Braoudakis in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Nea Smirni's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Braoudakis came free, but Christos Chatzidakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Thanos Kalfakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Commandos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Paris Braoudakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Commandos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paris Braoudakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stelios Belidis took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christos Chatzidakis. Christos Chatzidakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Menelaos Siradakis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Christos Chatzidakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paris Braoudakis went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute Stelios Belidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Chatzidakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Thanos Kalfakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christos Chatzidakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. A collision led to The Commandos getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Stelios Belidis hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Stelios Belidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christos Chatzidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Belidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christos Chatzidakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Belidis in the 95th minute of play. The Commandos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
