Christos Chatzidakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paraskevas Staikos in the 15th minute of the match. Christos Chatzidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikitas Mavrakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Stravogiannos got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 21st minute, Paraskevas Staikos made a precise shot to the right of Christos Chatzidakis. Nea Smirni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Nea Smirni booed when Teridona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pipis Moustafidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Nea Smirni's Nikitas Papalexis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sofronio Dorado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nea Smirni reached it. Sofronio Dorado made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Miltos Ziogas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Nea Smirni's zone, Nikitas Mavrakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Chatzidakis came out of the goal and Nikitas Mavrakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vrasidas Belesis during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Teridona's Vrasidas Belesis got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Miltos Ziogas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikitas Mavrakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Christos Chatzidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofronio Dorado made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Miltos Ziogas sent off a good shot on target. Teridona's Sofronio Dorado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Teridona from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paraskevas Staikos was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Pipis Moustafidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teridona and the Nea Smirni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nea Smirni made a substitution. Efthimis Samiamidis replaced Nikitas Papalexis. In the 53rd match minute, Teridona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipis Moustafidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Paraskevas Staikos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Nea Smirni's Christos Chatzidakis got control of the ball when Nikitas Mavrakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Nontas Panagiotou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nea Smirni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teridona the free kick. The supporters of Teridona booed when Nea Smirni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nontas Panagiotou didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nikitas Mavrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Teridona booed when Nea Smirni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nontas Panagiotou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraskevas Staikos came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christos Chatzidakis could save by the left post. Miltos Ziogas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sofronio Dorado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Ziogas in the 81st minute of the match. Christos Chatzidakis came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Teridona's Paraskevas Staikos. But to his dismay, Paraskevas Staikos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nontas Panagiotou kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Teridona's Paraskevas Staikos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christos Chatzidakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Teridona eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
