The referee ignored Απόλλων Λάρισας's protests and gave Sotiris Kafkaletos a yellow card for diving instead. Vitomir Barúmov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Preftokis in the 16th minute of the match. Fokas Thanos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 43rd match minute, Ghost Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Stergiou to maneuver through the defense. Ghost Club's Vitomir Barúmov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimos Pentasferos in the 45th minute of play. Vitomir Barúmov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Lemonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ghost Club's Vitomir Barúmov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Club from getting a goal against them. Vitomir Barúmov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Preftokis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timos Preftokis in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitomir Barúmov saved Ghost Club from getting behind. Dimos Pentasferos scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitomir Barúmov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitomir Barúmov came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Απόλλων Λάρισας's Vaggelis Lemonis. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Lemonis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. During the 64th minute of the match Sotiris Kafkaletos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sotiris Kafkaletos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sotiris Kafkaletos hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Stergios Drougas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Club's protests and gave Stergios Drougas a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Ghost Club got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Drougas. Dimos Pentasferos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitomir Barúmov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimos Pentasferos ran back to his position shaking his head. Emmanouil Kounadopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitomir Barúmov having to interfere. Vitomir Barúmov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Preftokis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Timos Preftokis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Απόλλων Λάρισας and the Ghost Club players grew even worse after the yellow card.
