Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aris Mardakis kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Filippos Mimidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The RIO FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when RIO FC's Anastasios Mamais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sokratis Tsagarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sokratis Tsagarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleon Mitrou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kleon Mitrou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Mimidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georgaraiika's Kleon Mitrou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Koukoulekis in the 17th minute of play. Avraam Pedoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysis Pantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Georgaraiika's zone, Akis Koukoulekis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleon Mitrou came out of the goal and Akis Koukoulekis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Georgaraiika's Kleon Mitrou. Kleon Mitrou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kleon Mitrou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Meletis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleon Mitrou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sokratis Tsagarakis in the 31st minute of the match. Kleon Mitrou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akis Koukoulekis's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kleon Mitrou. Georgaraiika's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignatios Meletis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Sokratis Tsagarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sokratis Tsagarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleon Mitrou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akis Koukoulekis in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kleon Mitrou saved Georgaraiika from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, Georgaraiika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soulis Labetis to maneuver through the defense. If Akis Koukoulekis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Aris Mardakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avraam Pedoulakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Soulis Labetis's late challenge caught a RIO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Soulis Labetis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Georgaraiika's Soulis Labetis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Kleon Mitrou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Koukoulekis in the 59th minute of the match. Soulis Labetis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Sokratis Tsagarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kleon Mitrou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kleon Mitrou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignatios Meletis went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Georgaraiika's Kleon Mitrou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Meletis in the 70th minute of play. RIO FC's Avraam Pedoulakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save RIO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Demis Tassakos had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 79 minutes into the game, Aris Mardakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Georgaraiika's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIO FC the free kick. RIO FC made a substitution. Vaggelis Telatos replaced Demis Tassakos. The supporters of RIO FC booed when Georgaraiika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Mardakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Georgaraiika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Kyparissis to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Georgaraiika's Kleon Mitrou. Kleon Mitrou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When RIO FC's Ignatios Meletis in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Georgaraiika's goalie prevented a goal. RIO FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
