Skepαrion BC's Vidosav Joksimović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Skiadas in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Skepαrion BC's Takis Voutsas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giorgos Christodoulou. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Marios Giannopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Giorgos Christodoulou made a huge save. Skepαrion BC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Glyfada FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vaggelis Papakosmas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Skepαrion BC's corner Kyriakos Karafanakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giorgos Christodoulou quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wei Xuan Hsin during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Glyfada FC booed when Skepαrion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Xuan Hsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alekos Skiadas took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidosav Joksimović. The referee ignored Skepαrion BC's protests and gave Kyriakos Karafanakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Kyriakos Karafanakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Takis Voutsas to make the kick off.
