The RIO FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when RIO FC's Akis Koukoulekis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Akis Koukoulekis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Makrýlakkos's Panagiotis Xanthopoulos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charilaos Bolos was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, RIO FC's Akis Koukoulekis made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panagiotis Xanthopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the game, Akis Koukoulekis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panagiotis Xanthopoulos. Akis Koukoulekis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. The audience was convinced that Sokratis Tsagarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Xanthopoulos was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Sokratis Tsagarakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panagiotis Xanthopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sokratis Tsagarakis ran back to his position shaking his head. When Akis Koukoulekis in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Panagiotis Xanthopoulos kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-11 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience was convinced that Sokratis Tsagarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Xanthopoulos was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
