Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aris Mardakis started the match with the kick off. Kyriakos Karafanakis charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyriakos Karafanakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Georgaraiika booed when Skepαrion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyriakos Karafanakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleon Mitrou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Giannopoulos in the 7th minute of the match. Marios Giannopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Georgaraiika defense, Marios Giannopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kleon Mitrou. The Georgaraiika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kleon Mitrou should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Georgaraiika's zone, Marios Giannopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleon Mitrou came out of the goal and Marios Giannopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleon Mitrou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Voutsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Skepαrion BC's Vidosav Joksimović got control of the ball when Dionysis Pantos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Skepαrion BC's Marios Giannopoulos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kleon Mitrou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st match minute, Skepαrion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azli Ning to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Georgaraiika's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Voutsas came free, but Kleon Mitrou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Skepαrion BC's Takis Voutsas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kleon Mitrou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marios Giannopoulos went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Marios Giannopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kleon Mitrou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Georgaraiika was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soulis Labetis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Georgaraiika booed when Skepαrion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skepαrion BC's Vidosav Joksimović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Skepαrion BC from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Marios Giannopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Kleon Mitrou. Georgaraiika's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
Aris Mardakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidosav Joksimović having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marios Giannopoulos got free with Kleon Mitrou in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soulis Labetis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Takis Voutsas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marios Giannopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Telis Kiousis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kleon Mitrou stood somewhat misplaced when Takis Voutsas came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 66 minute. After 71 played minutes Skepαrion BC got a freekick which was hit by Azli Ning. Georgaraiika's Dionysis Pantos got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaggelis Papakosmas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kleon Mitrou. That made the score 0-8 in the 79 minute of play. Kleon Mitrou was a little too slow when Vaggelis Papakosmas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-9. When Vaggelis Papakosmas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Skepαrion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Papakosmas couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Skepαrion BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Georgaraiika throughout the match.
