Mert Günok came out of the goal and Argyris Xanthidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Argyris Xanthidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mert Günok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charis Paliogiannos during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charis Paliogiannos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Mantoϊdion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolas Markomichalis to maneuver through the defense. Mert Günok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Xanthidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Mantoϊdion's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Xanthidis came free, but Mert Günok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Charis Paliogiannos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mantoϊdion's zone, Argyris Xanthidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 1η Μ.Α.Λ.'s Tiit Võsoberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veniamin Venopoulos in the 55th minute of play. Alekos Grigorakis charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alekos Grigorakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, 1η Μ.Α.Λ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alekos Grigorakis to maneuver through the defense. Argyris Xanthidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mert Günok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argyris Xanthidis ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Argyris Xanthidis in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 1η Μ.Α.Λ. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
