Ntinos Giannakopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Petros Sarris made a huge save. Theocharis Kottikas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Petros Sarris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Piryion FC's Petros Sarris got control of the ball when Ntinos Giannakopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaggelos Petroulakis in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ken Troxler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandros Katsoulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ken Troxler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ntinos Giannakopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Sarris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Petros Sarris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theocharis Kottikas in the 52nd minute of the match.
