Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Telis Kostiadis got the match started through his kick off. Michalis Papastergiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Fernandes in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Bruno Fernandes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Agrinio's Michalis Papastergiou. Michalis Papastergiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mert Günok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Tsakoumis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Orestis Gerontidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michalis Papastergiou having to make a save. The supporters of Agrinio booed when Mantoϊdion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charis Paliogiannos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes, Gerasimos Karalis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mantoϊdion and the Agrinio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Mantoϊdion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Karalis to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes, Agrinio's Stefanos Benetatos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mert Günok came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Agrinio reached it. After a rather tough play, Agrinio's Babbis Kagiouzis got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Mantoϊdion's Bruno Fernandes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michalis Papastergiou was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Agrinio fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Agrinio's Telis Kostiadis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Telis Kostiadis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Mert Günok 36 minutes into the match. When Charis Paliogiannos came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mantoϊdion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Paliogiannos couldn't finish the play. Michalis Papastergiou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Bruno Fernandes put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Michalis Papastergiou. Stavros Tsakoumis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Mantoϊdion got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Markomichalis. Agrinio's Michalis Papastergiou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Agrinio from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Charis Paliogiannos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes Mantoϊdion got a freekick which was hit by Charis Paliogiannos. Michalis Papastergiou was a little too slow when Charis Paliogiannos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telis Kostiadis during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Agrinio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telis Kostiadis to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
