The supporters of Aris Fc Kavala booed when stoon city Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eutichios Sparos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorotheos Stamatelatos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aris Fc Kavala's goalkeeper Giannis Tsirimokos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Gil de Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Giannis Tsirimokos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Aris Fc Kavala's Giannis Kopanaras threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fanis Voukefalas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Aris Fc Kavala's zone, Dorotheos Stamatelatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Tsirimokos came out of the goal and Dorotheos Stamatelatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorotheos Stamatelatos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giannis Tsirimokos having to make a save. Panos Papadas's late challenge caught a stoon city Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Papadas helped the player get up and apologised. Panos Papadas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Voukefalas in the 64th minute of play forced stoon city Fc's goalkeeper Giannis Kopanaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorotheos Stamatelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match Lazaros Kolotoubis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Kopanaras skillfully saved the ball. The Aris Fc Kavala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Tsirimokos should have stopped the shot.
