Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marinos Kisemlis kicked off to start the match. With an all-out effort, Katsilimaνika's Tilemachos Vourkos threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marinos Kisemlis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Grigoris Moustakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marinos Mouratidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tilemachos Vourkos could save by the left post. Marinos Kisemlis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Vassilis Romanakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Athenians's goalkeeper Tilemachos Vourkos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Athenians's Tilemachos Vourkos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save The Athenians from getting a goal against them. Tilemachos Vourkos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigoris Moustakidis went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Nikolatos in the 21st minute of play. The Athenians's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Grigoris Moustakidis scored to the left of an out of position Tilemachos Vourkos, making the score, 2-0. If Marinos Kisemlis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Athenians's Tilemachos Vourkos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save The Athenians from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes, Minas Giakoumakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Athenians and the Katsilimaνika players grew even worse after the yellow card. Katsilimaνika made a substitution. Theofilos Stamatellis replaced Grigoris Moustakidis. In the 31st match minute, The Athenians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Giakoumakis to maneuver through the defense. Tilemachos Vourkos made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nestoras Tsatsoulis sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to The Athenians getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Argyris Charakis hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Tilemachos Vourkos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, The Athenians's Giannis Bethanis got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marinos Kisemlis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, The Athenians's goalkeeper Tilemachos Vourkos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marinos Mouratidis. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marinos Kisemlis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katsilimaνika's supporters rose to their feet, but Marinos Kisemlis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tilemachos Vourkos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vrasidas Liapakis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Kisemlis in the 57th minute of play forced The Athenians's goalkeeper Tilemachos Vourkos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Katsilimaνika's Marinos Mouratidis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tilemachos Vourkos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Marinos Kisemlis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tilemachos Vourkos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theofilos Stamatellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tilemachos Vourkos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marinos Mouratidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tilemachos Vourkos was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Marinos Kisemlis made a precise shot to the right of Tilemachos Vourkos. The Athenians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Nestoras Tsatsoulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to The Athenians getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vassilis Romanakos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Athenians's zone, Marinos Mouratidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tilemachos Vourkos came out of the goal and Marinos Mouratidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, The Athenians's goal looked a bit too open when Nestoras Tsatsoulis came free, but Tilemachos Vourkos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Markos Nikolatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Athenians's Tilemachos Vourkos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Mouratidis in the 83rd minute of play. Marinos Mouratidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tilemachos Vourkos having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Marinos Mouratidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Katsilimaνika fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
