Panetolikos PC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renos Agathopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Abarca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fotis Raptopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Konstantinos Lentis came out and tried to block the shot, but Fotis Raptopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. Minas Kabantais hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Konstantinos Lentis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Raptopoulos in the 33rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Konstantinos Lentis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Raptopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Vassilis Pathekas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, PANTHERS FC's Sebastian Vermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Vermudo couldn't finish the play. Konstantinos Lentis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Schizas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Sebastian Vermudo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantinos Lentis. Konstantinos Lentis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PANTHERS FC.
