After 2 played minutes Prσsnik got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Xenitias. Giannis Tsirimokos came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Prσsnik's Giorgos Nikopolidis. But to his dismay, Giorgos Nikopolidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Giannis Tsirimokos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Nikopolidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute, Stamatis Xenitias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prσsnik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Stamatis Xenitias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giorgos Nikopolidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Giannis Tsirimokos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Giorgos Nikopolidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giannis Tsirimokos was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Petros Stratos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Themistoklis Lissaridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgos Nikopolidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giannis Tsirimokos having to make a save. Louis Kamakaris kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giorgos Nikopolidis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giannis Tsirimokos prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Fanis Voukefalas made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Petros Stratos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Giannis Tsirimokos having to interfere. Giorgos Nikopolidis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Giannis Tsirimokos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prσsnik. In the 59th minute Giorgos Nikopolidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Tsirimokos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avraam Konstantinidis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Prσsnik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignatios Dimitroulis to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Aris Fc Kavala's goalkeeper Giannis Tsirimokos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stamatis Xenitias. If Petros Stratos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the game, Prσsnik's Stamatis Xenitias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giannis Tsirimokos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 77th minute Giorgos Nikopolidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Tsirimokos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Menios Loukas fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aris Fc Kavala's protests and gave Menios Loukas a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aris Fc Kavala's zone, Stamatis Xenitias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Tsirimokos came out of the goal and Stamatis Xenitias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stamatis Xenitias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giannis Tsirimokos. That made the score 0-5 in the 96 minute of play. The Aris Fc Kavala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Prσsnik were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
