The audience held their breath when Panos Bouroutzikas in the 28th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Alexis Bougatselis's left hand side. In the 38th minute, Evripidis Rellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fragiskos Ioannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alexis Bougatselis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stratos Pithagoras made a kick off. In the 55th minute Stratos Pithagoras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Bougatselis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karfás booed when Farαkla BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanasis Tsioris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexis Bougatselis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Kouradakis in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Karfás's Panos Bouroutzikas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Giorgos Kouradakis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
