Spectators: 6832 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charis Baloukos got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Khersovon BC's Theocharis Balodimos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstantinos Koutsospyros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charis Baloukos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panagiotis Skrekis in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantinos Koutsospyros saved Kalιnji from getting behind. If Kyriakos Tsonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panagiotis Skrekis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Koutsospyros having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Kalιnji's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Tsonis came free, but Konstantinos Koutsospyros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panagiotis Skrekis in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantinos Koutsospyros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Khersovon BC's Panagiotis Skrekis in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalιnji's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Khersovon BC's Fanis Kalofolias got control of the ball when Zisis Xilas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Kyriakos Tsonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantinos Koutsospyros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fanis Kalofolias made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Zisis Xilas sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Nikitas Tsounidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khersovon BC were furious when Dorotheos Fasolis was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Khersovon BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Kalιnji. Babbis Kazatzis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fanis Kalofolias. 1-2. Zisis Xilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Kalofolias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Khersovon BC's zone, Charis Baloukos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Kalofolias came out of the goal and Charis Baloukos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Khersovon BC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kalιnji's Konstantinos Koutsospyros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Skrekis in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 minutes, Charis Baloukos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalιnji and the Khersovon BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Kalιnji got a freekick which was hit by Charis Baloukos. In the 59th minute, Nikitas Tsounidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Baloukos in the 61st minute of play forced Khersovon BC's goalkeeper Fanis Kalofolias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Charis Baloukos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Kalofolias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Theocharis Balodimos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khersovon BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Theocharis Balodimos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Koutsospyros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Khersovon BC's zone, Charis Baloukos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Kalofolias came out of the goal and Charis Baloukos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Sotiris Bouzoukis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Kalofolias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Khersovon BC booed when Kalιnji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Bouzoukis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefanos Tzanetakos during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Kalιnji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefanos Tzanetakos to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Theocharis Balodimos fired a really elegant long shot, but Konstantinos Koutsospyros threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When the match was over Khersovon BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kalιnji throughout the match.
