Atletico de Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sαnga BC the free kick. The supporters of Sαnga BC booed when Atletico de Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odysseas Perdikopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Atletico de Madrid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sαnga BC were winning 0-6.

Louis Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Abdul Hakim in the 60th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Sαnga BC's Omar Abdul Hakim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Sαnga BC played a much better game than Atletico de Madrid and deserved their victory. The Atletico de Madrid players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
