The ασιχτιρ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachary Bouche should have stopped the shot. The ασιχτιρ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 39 minutes into the game, Ntinos Batzis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Marios Martinopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Batzis in the 45th minute of play forced Metaxádhes BC's goalkeeper Marios Martinopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Erman İlmi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marios Martinopoulos. Metaxádhes BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erman İlmi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Disappointed in the 2-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Takis Kardaris was the one to do the kick off. Zachary Bouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Niniadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Charalambakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marios Martinopoulos having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Dimitris Telatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metaxádhes BC and the ασιχτιρ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 56 minutes into the game, Marios Kromlidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metaxádhes BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ασιχτιρ the free kick. A collision led to Metaxádhes BC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marios Kromlidis hit a great ball. Markos Papanikolas struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Zachary Bouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metaxádhes BC. 59 minutes into the game, Kostas Kapetanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ασιχτιρ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metaxádhes BC the free kick.
