PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamniα BC the free kick. In the 6th minute of the match Zacharias Vrochidis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermis Zacharioudakis skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. booed when Kamniα BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Samios didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Lazarakoglou in the 8th minute of play forced Kamniα BC's goalkeeper Lakis Borovilos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panagiotis Lazarakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spyros Stelious short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Ermis Zacharioudakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The attack was good, but when Spyros Steliou in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vrasidas Konstas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Panagiotis Lazarakoglou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lakis Borovilos having to make a save. If Panagiotis Lazarakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panagiotis Lazarakoglou in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lakis Borovilos saved Kamniα BC from getting behind. When Panagiotis Lazarakoglou came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panagiotis Lazarakoglou couldn't finish the play. Giorgos Stathoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vassilis Efthimakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lakis Borovilos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Panagiotis Lazarakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Sotiris Papoutsiadis put in a rough tackle. Lakis Borovilos went to the wrong direction when Giorgos Stathoulis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Panagiotis Lazarakoglou made the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Efthimakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panagiotis Lazarakoglou charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panagiotis Lazarakoglou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Panagiotis Lazarakoglou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Lakis Borovilos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Kamniα BC's goalkeeper Lakis Borovilos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Lazarakoglou. Lakis Borovilos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Efthimakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Panagiotis Lazarakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Kamniα BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Efthimakis came free, but Lakis Borovilos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassilis Efthimakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lakis Borovilos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Panagiotis Lazarakoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Lakis Borovilos made a huge save. Panagiotis Lazarakoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lakis Borovilos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panagiotis Lazarakoglou got free with Lakis Borovilos in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kamniα BC's Thomas Samios got a free kick in the 94th minute. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
