The crowd rose to their feet as ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Paraskevas Panagakos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petros Pantazidis. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. 10 minutes into the match, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Grigoriadis came free, but Alkaios Balouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Vassilis Seremetis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ and the FC CORFU players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Vassilis Seremetis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alkaios Balouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Grigoriadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alkaios Balouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Grigoriadis in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paris Kotsis in the 20th minute of play forced ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goalkeeper Alkaios Balouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Christos Tzolis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. FC CORFU's Petros Pantazidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC CORFU from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanouil Kitrinos to strike the kick off in the second half. When Franciszek Osowski fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC CORFU's protests and gave Franciszek Osowski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC CORFU's Franciszek Osowski got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC CORFU's zone, Emmanouil Kitrinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Pantazidis came out of the goal and Emmanouil Kitrinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Zinon Nasiakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petros Pantazidis. FC CORFU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zinon Nasiakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alkaios Balouris was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Ilias Sinetopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilias Sinetopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sotiris Grigoriadis got free with Alkaios Balouris in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goal looked a bit too open when Paris Kotsis came free, but Alkaios Balouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkaios Balouris made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Paris Kotsis sent off a good shot on target. Petros Pantazidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zinon Nasiakos went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Paris Kotsis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alkaios Balouris made a huge save. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Alkaios Balouris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC CORFU booed when ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Salaminiotis didn't get a good kick on the ball. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Ignatios Roussopoulos was substituted for Eustratios Totsis. After a rather tough play, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Valerios Grigoropoulos got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paraskevas Panagakos in the 82nd minute of play forced FC CORFU's goalkeeper Petros Pantazidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CORFU's Petros Pantazidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanouil Kitrinos in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goalkeeper Alkaios Balouris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Grigoriadis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Kotsis got free with Alkaios Balouris in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petros Pantazidis came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Paraskevas Panagakos. But to his dismay, Paraskevas Panagakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Christos Tzolis scored 7-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petros Pantazidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC CORFU for a fine match.
