Lakis Borovilos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorotheos Bibilas in the 8th minute of the match. Charilaos Simos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkis Papasotiriou having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakovos Xanthakis in the 20th minute of play forced Kamniα BC's goalkeeper Lakis Borovilos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Dorotheos Bibilas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★OlumpiakoS Surou FC★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Diogenis Krotidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charilaos Simos fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kamniα BC's protests and gave Charilaos Simos a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Kamniα BC got a freekick which was hit by Charilaos Simos. When Iakovos Xanthakis came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the ★OlumpiakoS Surou FC★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iakovos Xanthakis couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Alekos Mavrakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★OlumpiakoS Surou FC★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kamniα BC the free kick. Lakis Borovilos came out of the goal and Dorotheos Bibilas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Spyros Steliou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkis Papasotiriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
