Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Panagiotis Konstantopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neil Maddern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Limta's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Pomponio came free, but Makis Loukakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Eugenios Nalitzis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stergios Kallitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makis Loukakis having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Christodoulos Tritsonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Limta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stergios Kallitzakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Valerios Batakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as astrapi's Valerios Batakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Makis Loukakis. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. If Stergios Kallitzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Valerios Batakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. astrapi's supporters rose to their feet, but Valerios Batakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makis Loukakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thalis Kapetanopoulos made a kick off. Makis Loukakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Pomponio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Valerios Batakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. astrapi's supporters rose to their feet, but Valerios Batakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makis Loukakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64thth minute of the game Valerios Batakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limta's Makis Loukakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. astrapi's Fivos Damianos was substituted for Kostas Spanakis. Stergios Kallitzakis's late challenge caught a Limta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stergios Kallitzakis helped the player get up and apologised. Stergios Kallitzakis kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Limta's zone, Dimitris Tzanetoulakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Makis Loukakis came out of the goal and Dimitris Tzanetoulakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. astrapi's Dimitris Tzanetoulakos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thalis Kapetanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Maddern having to interfere. A collision led to astrapi getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Veniamin Kontopanos hit a great ball. astrapi's Dimitris Tzanetoulakos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stergios Kallitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makis Loukakis having to interfere. Thalis Kapetanopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Makis Loukakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Tzanetoulakos in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that astrapi were the better team. astrapi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
