Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) dfs's Makis Peponas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Panafpliakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Kanellopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Akis Pefanis managed to get in a good position for a shot. dfs's supporters rose to their feet, but Akis Pefanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miltos Seichanidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. dfs's Kleanthis Stefanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Kanellopoulos in the 10th minute of play. Makis Peponas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miltos Seichanidis having to make a save. When Stavros Tsakanikas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panafpliakos FC's protests and gave Stavros Tsakanikas a yellow card for diving instead. Akis Pefanis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Stavros Tsakanikas got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Stavros Tsakanikas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nasos Nasiakos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nasos Nasiakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Nasos Nasiakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kleanthis Stefanis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alkaios Mavromatis. 47 minutes into the match, Panafpliakos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Pefanis came free, but Miltos Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Kleanthis Stefanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Kanellopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Kleanthis Stefanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Kanellopoulos in the 54th minute of the match. Kleanthis Stefanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nontas Mouratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Karatasos took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miltos Seichanidis. Miltos Seichanidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Nontas Mouratos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Kyriakos Kanellopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Stefanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Makis Peponas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Kyriakos Kanellopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, dfs's Miltos Seichanidis threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Akis Pefanis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the match, Panafpliakos FC's goalkeeper Miltos Seichanidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Makis Peponas. Miltos Seichanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Peponas in the 87th minute of play. Makis Peponas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Miltos Seichanidis made a huge save. When Kyriakos Kanellopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panafpliakos FC's protests and gave Kyriakos Kanellopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Kyriakos Kanellopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. dfs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
