The supporters of Rizareio booed when Π.Ε.Κ.Θ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miltos Mavrofidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Tsekouras in the 7th minute of play. Valerios Kazakis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 15th minute of play forced Π.Ε.Κ.Θ's goalkeeper Paško Vukašin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnaldo Sá hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rizareio's zone, Charis Tsekouras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Mavrofidis came out of the goal and Charis Tsekouras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Π.Ε.Κ.Θ's Paško Vukašin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Valerios Kazakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Π.Ε.Κ.Θ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Anastasios Kentikelenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paško Vukašin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Katsanikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Π.Ε.Κ.Θ's Agnaldo Sá got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Rizareio's goal looked a bit too open when Valerios Kazakis came free, but Miltos Mavrofidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charis Tsekouras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Miltos Mavrofidis made a huge save. Dimitris Katsanikos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paško Vukašin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dimitris Katsanikos made the kick off in the second half. Paško Vukašin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Kentikelenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Katsanikos kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 55thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Π.Ε.Κ.Θ's keeper Paško Vukašin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Charis Tsekouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miltos Mavrofidis having to interfere. 2-3 came in the 64th minute when Marinos Zebetoglou all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Paško Vukašin. If Anastasios Kentikelenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Π.Ε.Κ.Θ booed when Rizareio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Dedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Anastasios Kentikelenis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Paško Vukašin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Anastasios Kentikelenis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paško Vukašin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Viktoras Fotakis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Π.Ε.Κ.Θ's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasios Kentikelenis came free, but Paško Vukašin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miltos Mavrofidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerios Kazakis in the 86th minute of play. Paško Vukašin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uriel Illart. 95 minutes into the match, Agustin Limofer notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Rizareio's Miltos Mavrofidis. Miltos Mavrofidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
