Rizareio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Katsanikos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes Glory United got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Stergiatos. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Theofanis Klotsobounidas put in a rough tackle. In the 37th minute, one of Glory United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Glory United. If Anastasios Kentikelenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Glory United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rizareio were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Stergiou to strike the kick off in the second half. Dimitris Katsanikos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Konstantinos Tsachalis made a huge save. Konstantinos Tsachalis made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Dimitris Katsanikos sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 59 minutes, Dimitris Katsanikos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dimitris Katsanikoss short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Konstantinos Tsachalis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Glory United's Petros Solomos got a free kick in the 69th minute. Konstantinos Tsachalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Kentikelenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstantinos Tsachalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Dimitris Katsanikos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rizareio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Katsanikos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rizareio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
