Gardhíkion FCas's Dorotheos Kidoniatis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paschalis Papagiannidis in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Nikiforos Aggelou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorotheos Kidoniatis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Trifon Tsouloufidis fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Airforce's protests and gave Trifon Tsouloufidis a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Airforce got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Tsouloufidis. When Zisis Marianos came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gardhíkion FCas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zisis Marianos couldn't finish the play. Zacharias Kelpekis was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Marinos Giasemis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marinos Giasemis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dorotheos Kidoniatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikiforos Aggelou in the 31st minute of the match. Zinon Lyberopoulos struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Zacharias Kelpekis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gardhíkion FCas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Stavridis in the 36th minute of play forced Airforce's goalkeeper Zacharias Kelpekis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
