Makis Sagriotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 5th minute of play. Makis Sagriotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Nontas Kareklas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nontas Kareklas came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tusin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nontas Kareklas couldn't finish the play. Makis Sagriotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Katsanikos in the 19th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Tusin got a freekick which was hit by Nontas Kareklas. In the 24th minute, Dimitris Katsanikos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Katsanikos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Makis Sagriotis was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 38th minute Dimitris Katsanikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makis Sagriotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miltos Mavrofidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Kareklas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Makis Sagriotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Katsanikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Sotiris Stamatis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tusin and the Rizareio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Makis Sagriotis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Katsanikos went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitris Katsanikos was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Tusin getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Zinon Samiamidis hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Dimitris Katsanikos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Makis Sagriotis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Filippos Fragopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tusin's protests and gave Filippos Fragopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Sotiris Stamatis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Dimitris Katsanikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Makis Sagriotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 93rd minute of play forced Tusin's goalkeeper Makis Sagriotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Katsanikoss short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Makis Sagriotis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rizareio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
