Makis Sagriotis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ignatios Bikas. In the 15th match minute, Airforce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themos Manolas to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Airforce's goal looked a bit too open when Zinon Samiamidis came free, but Zacharias Kelpekis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Filippos Fragopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tusin's protests and gave Filippos Fragopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Tusin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nikiforos Aggelou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zacharias Kelpekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Samiamidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stathis Koffidis during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zinon Samiamidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacharias Kelpekis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zinon Samiamidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Makis Sagriotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aris Vamvoukas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience was convinced that Paschalis Papagiannidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Makis Sagriotis was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Tusin's Makis Sagriotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paschalis Papagiannidis in the 59th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Nikiforos Aggelou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Airforce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Sotiris Stamatis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Makis Sagriotis came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Airforce's Nikiforos Aggelou. But to his dismay, Nikiforos Aggelou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 78th match minute, Tusin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippos Fragopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Tusin's Makis Sagriotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paschalis Papagiannidis in the 90th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Airforce players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
