Alkaios Kazanidis took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steve Walsh. Steve Walsh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. SANTA BARBARA's Steve Walsh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkaios Kazanidis in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Alkaios Kazanidis made a precise shot to the right of Steve Walsh. SANTA BARBARA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Alin Cucerdean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Walsh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkaios Kazanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkaios Kazanidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Walsh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTA BARBARA's goalkeeper Steve Walsh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alkaios Kazanidis made the kick off in the second half. In the 50thth minute of the game Ivan Chabanenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREEN ROCHAS's Vassilis Velianitis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Chabanenko in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Velianitis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimitris Zigouris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steve Walsh having to make a save. SANTA BARBARA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alkaios Kazanidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Steve Walsh came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by GREEN ROCHAS's Alkaios Kazanidis. But to his dismay, Alkaios Kazanidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Alkaios Kazanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Walsh having to interfere. With his leg Steve Walsh managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when GREEN ROCHAS's Alkaios Kazanidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the game, Dimitris Zigouris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steve Walsh. Dimitris Zigouris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. The GREEN ROCHAS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
