After a rather tough play, Aktoras's Christos Stavrinos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sotiris Birbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Verelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kleon Kouzoulidis during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vaggelis Sigalas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Sotiris Birbas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakis Georgakis in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Byzantium F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lakis Straggas came free, but Dimitris Pantelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Aktoras were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Byzantium F.C.'s goalkeeper Dimitris Pantelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álmos Tóth. Sakis Georgakis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Byzantium F.C. booed when Aktoras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Stavrinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álmos Tóth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dimitris Pantelis made a huge save. Lakis Straggas struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Dimitris Pantelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aktoras. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Álmos Tóth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aktoras's supporters rose to their feet, but Álmos Tóth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Pantelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giannis Charalambakis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Zacharias Verelis's late challenge caught a Aktoras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacharias Verelis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Byzantium F.C.'s Zacharias Verelis got a free kick in the 94th minute. A collision led to Byzantium F.C. getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Zacharias Verelis hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Aktoras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Byzantium F.C..
