A collision led to Byzantium F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pantelis Lefkos hit a great ball. Chatziioannou Dedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dimitris Pantelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacharias Verelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Tziolis having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Kleon Spyropoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Byzantium F.C.'s Dimitris Pantelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Kleon Spyropoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitris Pantelis. Byzantium F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kleon Spyropoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kleon Spyropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Pantelis having to interfere. When Chatziioannou Dedes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the POUTSA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chatziioannou Dedes couldn't finish the play. Kleon Spyropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dimitris Pantelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giannis Tziolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Verelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kleon Spyropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitris Pantelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kleon Spyropoulos's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Chatziioannou Dedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Pantelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

The supporters of Byzantium F.C. booed when POUTSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziioannou Dedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Sakis Georgakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Tziolis. POUTSA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sakis Georgakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zacharias Verelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Giannis Tziolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iason Bantrakos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Omiros Karras kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dimitris Pantelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziioannou Dedes in the 76th minute of play. Dimitris Pantelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziioannou Dedes's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If Chatziioannou Dedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in POUTSA FC's zone, Zacharias Verelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Tziolis came out of the goal and Zacharias Verelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The POUTSA FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Byzantium F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
