Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerasimos Venoukas kicked off to start the match. Iason Kechagias kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Panathinaikos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marinos Pagitis to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Papageorgakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, PANATHINAIKOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efthimis Zanidis came free, but Evaggelos Mirtsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Papageorgakis in the 23rd minute of play forced Panathinaikos's goalkeeper Kaká Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iason Kechagias kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. PANATHINAIKOS FC's Evaggelos Mirtsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arotza Pozo in the 31st minute of play. Arotza Pozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Mirtsos having to interfere. In the 35th minute Iason Kechagias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Ramos made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gerasimos Venoukas sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdomiro Arósio to strike the kick off in the second half. Arotza Pozo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaggelos Mirtsos. Evaggelos Mirtsos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efthimis Zanidis in the 55th minute of play forced PANATHINAIKOS FC's goalkeeper Evaggelos Mirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valdomiro Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savas Sikas's late challenge caught a PANATHINAIKOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Savas Sikas helped the player get up and apologised. Savas Sikas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Gerasimos Venoukas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaká Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gerasimos Venoukas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Paragas in the 74th minute of play. Iason Kechagias hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gerasimos Venoukas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Ramos having to interfere. After 86 played minutes PANATHINAIKOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Iason Kechagias. Evaggelos Mirtsos had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Valdomiro Arósio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 90th minute, Christos Papageorgakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PANATHINAIKOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Panathinaikos's Arotza Pozo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PANATHINAIKOS FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
