Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fragiskos Papalexiou made the kick off which started today's match. Fivos Spaneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiros Voskaridis in the 3rd minute of play. Fivos Spaneas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christoforos Kasapoglou. The supporters of Makríndos BC booed when Mourνon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Karagoutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Makríndos BC's Fragiskos Papalexiou got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Sifakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fivos Spaneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fivos Spaneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiros Voskaridis in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Mourνon getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Avraam Maros hit a great ball. Mourνon's Fivos Spaneas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiros Voskaridis in the 12th minute of play. Makríndos BC's Dimos Kolevas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Maros in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Avraam Maros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimos Kolevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimos Kolevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Chatziaggelis in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chrisostomos Riganidis got free with Fivos Spaneas in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 played minutes Makríndos BC got a freekick which was hit by Christoforos Kasapoglou. The excitement rose when Mourνon's Dimitris Veziropoulos after 26 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Makríndos BC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. If Chrisostomos Riganidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasios Karagoutis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Fragiskos Papalexiou came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Makríndos BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fragiskos Papalexiou couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mourνon's Theocharis Sourmelis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fivos Spaneas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiros Voskaridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Avraam Maros made the kick off in the second half. If Vladimiros Voskaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stamatis Sifakis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Makríndos BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Sifakis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Riganidis in the 55th minute of play forced Mourνon's goalkeeper Fivos Spaneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Timos Xenopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Makríndos BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mourνon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Makríndos BC's Timos Xenopoulos got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes, Mourνon's Sakis Kavaliaratos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimos Kolevas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mourνon reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Makríndos BC's zone, Giorgos Chatziaggelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimos Kolevas came out of the goal and Giorgos Chatziaggelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stamatis Sifakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fivos Spaneas having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Avraam Maros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimos Kolevas. Avraam Maros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 68 minutes into the game, Dimitris Veziropoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mourνon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Makríndos BC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Mourνon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Makríndos BC:s goal. The referee gave Makríndos BC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fragiskos Papalexiou, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mourνon's Fivos Spaneas. 1-2. Giorgos Chatziaggelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dimos Kolevas made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Fragiskos Papalexiou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fivos Spaneas was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Vladimiros Voskaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fivos Spaneas having to interfere. Vladimiros Voskaridis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fivos Spaneas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Riganidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Vladimiros Voskaridis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fivos Spaneas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avraam Maros in the 96th minute of play forced Makríndos BC's goalkeeper Dimos Kolevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Makríndos BC had been in control for most of the match, Mourνon still came away with the win.
